Arboricultural Mortgage Report
Urban Forestry Group is licensed to undertake arboricultural pre-purchase mortgage reports of trees identified in mortgage surveys. The arboricultural report will assess and report on the trees influencing distance in relation to the property.
For homebuyers; Urban Forestry Group offers a standard nationwide service that will supply a 'Level 1: Arboricultural Mortgage Report' within 5 working days. We can also supply a premium service that delivers the tree report within 48 hours as an electronically signed PDF document direct to the property surveyor, estate agent or lender.
The cost of obtaining a standard 'Arboricultural Mortgage Report' is £185.00 for up to 5 trees and £10.00 per tree thereafter*.
A 'Level 1: Arboricultural Mortgage Report' surveys trees within the influencing distance of the property in relation to:
- Structural integrity of the property.
- Light structures, i.e. walls & patios.
- Health and Safety.
A 'Level 1: Arboricultural Mortgage Report' includes the following information:
- Results of 3 soil tests to a depth of 1200mm to analyse clay characteristics.
- Ground level dimensional tree assessment.
- Comments & recommendations for tree works.
- Conclusions.
- An electronically produced site plan, including the positions of the trees surveyed & the soil auger tests.
