Urban Forestry Group has in excess of 12 years successful project experience in the management of amenity woodland, trees in conservation areas, community woodland, conditions of planning, landscaped business parks, residential developments, woodland planning grants and recreational spaces.
Woodland settings consist of a multitude of site considerations. Urban Forestry Group management process provides an economical solution to woodland restructuring, establishment, restocking regeneration and amenity forestry that can include:
- Woodland compartment survey and data collection
- The site plan is divided into management compartments and edges
- Site description: access, watercourse, soil, woodland use, soils, health and safety issues
- Analysis of survey data, hazards and constraints, conservation and ground flora
- Design using AutoCAD an electronic ordnance survey woodland compartmented site plan
- Production of a long term woodland design statement, direction and objectives
- Production of a compartment, map based detailed strategy planning document
